Inspection at a glance - The multipurpose groove makes objective assessment of the condition of the brake disc possible at a glance. If the entire groove has been worn away, the disc has reached its minimum thickness and must be replaced.

The new line of Brembo Aftermarket’s High Carbon Brake Rotors, identified by the mark "HC," meet or exceed the established standards of the automakers’ Original Equipment, both from the standpoint of quality and finish. Presently, Brembo offers HC part numbers to more than 140 vehicles. Highlighting Brembo’s commitment to technology and quality, these high carbon brake rotors have the ability to better dampen vibration and noise, thus improving comfort and ultimately, performance.

 

In addition, based on the specific application, the HC cast iron contains elements of copper, chrome, nickel and magnesium, further improving its physical properties and making for a stronger rotor as the end product.
