- Brake Rotors – ATE PowerDisc
The new ATE PowerDisc from ITT
Automotive, one of the largest independent automotive component
suppliers in the world, is a world first in the field of brake discs.
Compared with conventional brake discs, not only does it bring
significant safety benefits, it also offers better comfort and more
even wear - in all vehicle classes with and without ABS.
Increased safety in wet conditions
-The ATE PowerDisc's continuous groove safely absorbs
moisture, which might settle between brake disc and pad and drains it
off, like the tread of a tire. Braking actions start sooner and
brake-travel is shortened, as numerous instances of use in motorsport,
test-drives and bench-tests have demonstrated. You are braking in
comfort.
Inspection at a glance
- The multipurpose groove makes objective assessment of the condition
of the brake disc possible at a glance. If the entire groove has been
worn away, the disc has reached its minimum thickness and must be
replaced.

- Brake Rotors – Brembo High Carbon OE
Brake Rotors for European Vehicles
COSTA MESA, Calif.—Brembo North
America, long known for its fundamental strategy of offering rotors
that not only meet the same standards as the auto manufacturers’
Original Equipment, but which easily and quickly install on a wide
range of vehicles, has introduced a new line of rotors produced with
special high carbon cast iron.
The new line of Brembo Aftermarket’s High
Carbon Brake Rotors, identified by the mark "HC," meet or exceed the
established standards of the automakers’ Original Equipment, both from
the standpoint of quality and finish. Presently, Brembo offers HC part
numbers to more than 140 vehicles. Highlighting Brembo’s commitment to
technology and quality, these high carbon brake rotors have the
ability to better dampen vibration and noise, thus improving comfort
and ultimately, performance.
In addition, based on the specific
application, the HC cast iron contains elements of copper, chrome,
nickel and magnesium, further improving its physical properties and
making for a stronger rotor as the end product.
