Centric Parts Hydraulics & Hardware

The Centric Parts Brake Hydraulic Program is the most complete and up-to-date in the industry and includes Brake Master and Wheel Cylinders, Brake Hoses, Caliper and Wheel Cylinder Repair Kits And Remanufactured Power Boosters.

Centric Parts Brake Master Cylinders match original equipment parts in quality, configuration and fitment.   Cylinders are complete with reservoirs, switches, and floats and are offered with the original aluminum casting body design where applicable. Product is manufactured under the highest quality standards by OEM and OES manufacturers.

Centric Parts Wheel Cylinders follow the same formula: OE replacement and quality, including inserted brass insert and aluminum castings where applicable.

Brake pad Sensor Wires. This sensor must be replaced whenever the pads are replaced!! Most European vehicles use wear sensors in addition to  some American and Asian applications. 95% of the sales are in 4 part numbers that cover Mercedes and BMW.

Centric Parts Disc brake Hardware includes springs and clips that help support the pad in the caliper. One kit will replace the parts needed for two calipers or both left and right sides of the vehicle (axle set). Hardware is usually made of spring steel.  These parts are subject to fatigue due to a constant change of operating temperatures which can cause the spring steel to lose  tempering. Disc hardware should be replaced as part of any complete brake job and will help to eliminate brake noise, premature or uneven pad wear,as well as other possible comebacks.

Centric Drum Brake Hardware includes the parts needed to hold the brake shoes to the backing plate. This kit has also been referred to as a hold down kit or a combi-kit. One kit will replace the parts for a set of 4 shoes (axle set). These parts are also subject to high heat and should be replaced as part of any complete brake job.

Centric Remanufactured Brake Boosters

All vacuum and hydraulic units tested on custom designed testing equipment. All units are date coded to assist in quality control.

Booster types:

Bendix Units - These single or double diaphragm units are found on domestic cars, light trucks and some imports.

Treadle Vacs - First series of power brakes used on some domestic cars in the 50s and early 60s.  These units are on an R & R basis only.

Delco Units -Delco units are either single or double diaphragm and are found on GM car and light truck and some AMC applications.

Import Applications - Import application units include those manufactured by ATE, JKC, Asco, Lockheed, Girling and Bendix.  Also available is a complete line of servos.

Hydroboost Units -Hydroboost units are found on domestic cars, light trucks and heavy duty trucks with diesel engines.

Midland Units - Midland units are either single or double diaphragm, usually connected with a band.  Found on many car and truck applications.

Hydrovac Units - Hydrovacs are usually found on heavy duty applications and some early model light trucks and cars.

Multivac Units -Multivacs are found on heavy duty truck applications.  These are either by Bendix or Midland.

Tandem Units -Tandem Units are found on heavy duty truck applications.  These are either by Bendix or Midland.
