Privacy Policy
Thank you for visiting a Phil’s Incorporated website. The security of your personal information is extremely important to us. Our Privacy Policy outlines what information we collect online and how we use it. You can always browse our website without providing any personal information and does not maintain cookies on your computer.

We value your trust and will work hard to protect the security and privacy of any personal information you provide to us and will only use it as we have described in this Privacy Policy.

When making purchases from Phil’s Incorporated, our order staff collects billing, shipping, and contact information, including e-mail address, from you. We will not sell, rent, trade or give away your personal information to any third parties. We collect this information solely to process your order.

Phil’s Incorporated is serious about protecting our customer’s personal information. When you make a purchase using a credit card, we collect your name, your billing address for the card, the card type, number, and expiration date. We collect this information in order to bill you for your purchase..

We also collect information that allows us to ship your order. This includes the name, address, and phone number of the intended recipient(s). Additionally, we collect contact information, including e-mail and phone number, in case we need to contact you regarding your order.

Whenever you transmit credit card information and other personal information through our website, we use a technology called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) which encrypts (or encodes) sensitive information before it is sent over the Internet.

Phil’s Incorporated does not maintain cookies on your computer. We utilize a single user session application that terminates upon the completion of your shopping transaction.

This Privacy Policy is subject to change. When we modify it, we will post the changes in a revised policy statement noting such changes on our Home page.

Terms and Conditions of Sale
All parts purchased are warranted to be free of defect and may be returned subject to the manufacturers warranty. Returns for other than defects are accepted only within the first 14 days after purchase. The non-defective parts must be unused and in its original condition. The part must be returned in its original package. The part must be accompanied by the original receipt or no credit will be issued. Electrical components are not returnable. A 20% restocking fee will apply if a part is returned. Used parts will not be subject to return for credit. The address on your invoice should be used when returning cores or merchandise for credit. Your credit card will be credited for the original core charge within 5 business days of receipt by Phil’s Incorporated. If the core is in unacceptable condition (see core policy), you will be advised via e-mail with the reason for the credit not being issued to your credit card.

Catalog Errors
The Phil’s Incorporated catalog information is provided by an outside source and we are not responsible for catalog errors.  This includes product pricing and weights and shipping errors.  If an error is discovered, you will be contacted with the correct pricing and have the opportunity to cancel or continue with the sale.

Shipping

Orders shipped by UPS are insured for their actual value up to $100. Additional insurance is available at the customer's expense. If desired, please add a note in the comments section of your order or notify us via phone or e-mail. As many items as possible will be shipped together in order to reduce shipping charges. All items are shipped UPS Ground, Second Day Air and Next Day Air, at the customer’s option. All shipping and handling charges will be billed to the customer based upon the method of delivery requested. The customer will be notified of the total charge of the order, the order number, plus shipping and handling charges, via an e-mail confirmation when the order is processed. The customer will receive a second e-mail when the order is shipped (generally within two to three business days). Customer receipt of the order will be dependent upon the shipping option selected. If items are unable to be shipped due to availability, the order will be cancelled. The customer will be advised via-e-mail.

Payment Methods
CREDIT CARD: We accept American Express, VISA, Master Card, and Discover.
If for any reason the information you provide for credit card payment is incorrect, we will contact you. If we are unable to contact you within 72 hours, the order will be cancelled.

Core Return Policy - CORE Charges
Some of our parts require you to return the rebuildable original part back to us. If that is the case, the price of such a part will include a CORE charge which will be noted in the item pricing. The CORE charge will be refunded shortly after we receive the original part back from you. IMPORTANT: Return shipment of a CORE is the responsibility of the customer. You will not be reimbursed for the cost of shipping a CORE back to us. Shipping costs for heavy items may exceed the CORE charge, so please keep this in mind when ordering such an item.

1.        All core returns must be returned in the original manufacturer’s box.

2.        No unboxed core returns will be accepted.

3.        Core return items containing fluids shall be drained completely and wrapped in plastic or placed in a plastic bag or container before being placed in the original      cmanufacturer’s box.

4.        All core returns must be in rebuildable condition to be accepted for credit.

5.        All core returns must be assembled before being placed in the box.

6.        What you receive is what we expect back.

7.        All core return shipping charges shall be prepaid by the customer.

8.        Core returns must have part numbers listed on the outside of the box and be securely boxed for shipment.

9.        Core returns are to be shipped to Phil’s Inc. – 2204 Ashland Ave. Evanston, IL 60201 Customer shall receive credit to customer’s credit card account within 5 business days following our receipt of the core and our determination that the core return is acceptable.
